Our patented Architectural Direct Drive Door System™ is an innovative, space-saving, and safe design with energy-efficient functionality built in.
The Arc3D™ Solo is a vertical single-panel operable wall engineered for weather-tight performance in exterior and semi-exterior applications. An available thermally broken steel frame achieves a U-factor of 0.28, while laminated insulated safety glass and available proprietary extending mechanical lateral seals minimize air and water infiltration around the full perimeter. The standard frame without thermal break is also optimized for thermal efficiency, performing at a U-factor of 0.45.
Wind load performance is tested to 200 MPH in a static closed position and 110 MPH in full operation, supporting specification in high-exposure environments, including coastal, high-rise, and mixed-use conditions.
Where the Arc3D™ Duo opens a wide span through bi-folding operation, the Solo brings the same direct drive precision and architectural integration to single-panel applications. Its ball screw drive mechanism eliminates cables, straps, counterweights, and hydraulics, delivering controlled, quiet operation with minimal maintenance requirements over the life of the building.
The Arc3D™ Solo integrates cleanly with adjacent storefront and curtain wall systems to support seamless convertible space design across a range of commercial and institutional applications.
